Line Haul Routes

1. Line Haul Routes Creation Overview

Video 1- Add Line Haul route

1.1 Dashboard

The user can view their defined line haul routes in the system by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen in the Network Design Module from the left navigation panel as follows:

  • New Line Haul Route: the user can add a new line haul route by clicking on Create New.

  • Export: the user can export list of regions an Excel file by selecting export button.

  • Filters: the user can search for the line haul route by the route type, transport type.

  • Search: the user can search for line haul route by entering the display name.

  • Rows Per Page: the user can select the number of items to show on each page.

  • Actions: by clicking on Actions, the user can edit information, delete routes, add route combination.

1.1.1 Route Combinations

The user can create a route combinations through a dedicated page to add combinations to the system by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen in the Network Design Module from the left navigation panel as follows:

1.1.1.1 New Combination

The user can add a new routes and trips by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen via the Network Design Module and clicking on Add Combination as follows:

  • Combination Number: this field represent the number of the combination.

  • Trip: this field represent the name of the airline company.

By clicking on Save, the combination will be added successfully.

1.1.2 Edit Information

The user can edit routes and by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen via the Network Design Module and clicking on Edit Routes as follows:

1.1.2.1 Allowed Entities

The user can add allowed entities by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen via the Network Design Module and clicking on Edit Routes then click on Allowed Entities as follows:

  • Country: this field represents the country of the location to be added.

  • Main Center: this field represents the main center of the location to be added.

  • Branch: this field represents the branch of the location to be added.

By clicking on Add, the allowed entity will be added successfully.

1.1.2.2 Delete Entity

The user can delete allowed entities by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen via the Network Design Module and clicking on Edit Routes then click on Delete as follows:

1.1.3 Delete Route

The user can delete routes and by navigating to the ‘Line Haul Routes’ screen via the Network Design Module and clicking on Delete Routes as follows:

1.2 Add New Line Haul Route

The user can create a new line haul route by going to the “Line Haul Route” screen via the Network Design module and clicking on Create New button:

  • Route Type: this field represents the types of trips.

  • Route Transport Type: this field represents the type of transportation within the route.

  • Country: this field represents the country of the location to be added.

  • Main Center: this field represents the main center of the location to be added.

  • Branch: this field represents the branch of the location to be added.

By clicking on Save, the line haul route will be added successfully.
